🛡️ Aegis — Medical Image De-identification

Upload a medical image (JPEG/PNG) with burnt-in Protected Health Information (PHI) — patient names, dates, hospital names, IDs — and Aegis will detect and redact them.

Pipeline

1.EasyOCR detects all text regions in the image
2.Clinical Allowlist preserves device names, imaging modes, measurements
3.PHI Heuristics catch date-ID combos, hospital names, doctor prefixes
4.Stanford NER (F1 ≥ 97.9%) classifies remaining text as PHI or safe

PHI regions are blacked out. Clinical annotations are preserved.
