GDELT 1.0 Events: historical snapshot through 2026-08-14
This release is a fixed, analysis-ready snapshot of the complete GDELT 1.0 Event Database. It contains 889,592,605 machine-coded event records extracted by the GDELT Project from worldwide news reporting. The original tab-delimited archives have been normalized to one typed, 59-column schema and stored as Zstandard-compressed Parquet.
