Usage

Direct Usage (Sentence Transformers)

First install the Sentence Transformers library:

bash
pip install -U sentence-transformers

Then you can load this model and run inference.

python
from sentence_transformers import SentenceTransformer

# Download from the 🤗 Hub
model = SentenceTransformer("sentence_transformers_model_id")
# Run inference
sentences = [
    'How do you establish an equipotential zone for electrical work?',
    'Equipotential zone establishment: Use 2/0 AWG minimum copper cables, cross-bond adjoining conductive elements, measure under 25 milliohms resistance between bonded points. Maintain bonds until work completion. Applications include steel lattice structures, multiple metallic platforms, conductive work surfaces above 300V. Ground mat resistance maximum 0.15 ohms with voltage gradient test confirming 0 volts. Personal protective boundary 0.6 meter radius.',
    'Confined space atmospheric testing uses calibrated 4-gas meter with bump testing',
]
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings.shape)
# [3, 384]

# Get the similarity scores for the embeddings
similarities = model.similarity(embeddings, embeddings)
print(similarities.shape)
# [3, 3]
