SentenceTransformer based on sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2

This is a sentence-transformers model finetuned from sentence-transformers/all-MiniLM-L6-v2. It maps sentences & paragraphs to a 384-dimensional dense vector space and can be used for semantic textual similarity, semantic search, paraphrase mining, text classification, clustering, and more.

Usage

Direct Usage (Sentence Transformers)

First install the Sentence Transformers library:

bash
pip install -U sentence-transformers

Then you can load this model and run inference.

python
from sentence_transformers import SentenceTransformer

# Download from the 🤗 Hub
model = SentenceTransformer("Madras1/minilm-gooaq-mnr-v5")
# Run inference
sentences = [
    'Two people are turning a corner while riding dirt bikes on a dirt course.',
    'Two people ride dirt bikes.',
    "Sheepshead Bay's United Artists movie theater will be hiking its prices this Friday, with adult admission reaching $14 – or nearly twice the national average – Sheepshead Bites has learned. A source has confirmed the price hike, noting that adult admission will rise from $13.50 to $14.00.",
]
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings.shape)
# [3, 384]

# Get the similarity scores for the embeddings
similarities = model.similarity(embeddings, embeddings)
print(similarities)
# tensor([[ 1.0000,  0.7870, -0.1086],
#         [ 0.7870,  1.0000, -0.0786],
#         [-0.1086, -0.0786,  1.0000]])
