ReefGuard 4C
Evidence-grounded reef monitoring with deterministic checks for Correctness, Consistency, Currency and Coverage.
ReefGuard 4C is a public, client-facing demonstration of a knowledge-governed ecological monitoring agent. Users can change synthetic reef observations and see whether the evidence is clear, mutually consistent, current and broad enough for the proposed reporting scope.
Live demo
- Choose one of four synthetic worked examples.
- Adjust image quality, bleaching, heat stress, dates or survey coverage.
- Run the deterministic 4C assessment.
- Review the decision card, evidence trail, scope limitation and next action.
The four default cases demonstrate:
- a recent, well-covered healthy site;
- suspected bleaching with overexposed imagery;
- high heat stress with no current post-event imagery;
- a shallow-only survey that cannot support a whole-site conclusion.
What the output contains
- separate Correctness, Consistency, Currency and Coverage findings;
- a machine-readable 4C evidence card;
- a plain-language reef condition assurance note;
- an expert-review flag and recommended follow-up action;
- links to public scientific context.

Important demonstration boundary
This Space checks user-supplied or scenario metrics. It does not diagnose reef condition from image pixels, validate the synthetic numbers, or provide a statutory ecological assessment. Synthetic thresholds are included only to demonstrate product behaviour.
Optional Zhipu GLM wording is advisory. It runs after the deterministic checks and cannot change their status or expert-review decision. The demo works without an API key.
Safety
ReefGuard 4C does not replace marine science expertise, statutory environmental assessment, Traditional Owner knowledge governance, or formal reef management decisions. High-impact conclusions require qualified expert review.
Public release boundary
This repository is a narrow demonstration shell. Production knowledge engineering, governed provenance, generalised rules and constraints, audit infrastructure, evaluation assets, approval orchestration and reusable deployment capabilities are maintained separately.
