Fluid Bed Coating Digital Twin

Physics-based digital twin of a three-stage fluid bed coating process — pre-heating → spraying → drying → dissolution prediction.

Each stage solves an ODE system for particle/gas temperature and solvent content; the coating-loss rates (spray-drying during spraying, attrition during drying) come from empirical correlations fitted on a 19-run DoE (Bosch 2018). The predicted coating weight gain feeds a first-order dissolution model.

Usage: set the process parameters with the sidebar sliders (the ODE simulation is cached per parameter set), then move the Sample time slider to withdraw a virtual sample at any process time and see its predicted dissolution profile, t50 and t80.
