Inverse Tiles
A rhythm game where playing a song reconstructs a hidden image, one frequency band at a time.
Tap the falling tiles in time to play the melody (Twinkle Twinkle, Super Mario, He's a Pirate, or Baby Shark). Each correct hit adds a frequency band to the reconstruction on the side — the image starts as noise and sharpens from blurry low frequencies to crisp detail as you play. Miss notes or hit wrong ones and the image stays fuzzy, so a clean performance is rewarded with a perfect picture.
A playful nod to inverse problems and Fourier reconstruction in computational imaging.
How to play
- Tap the falling tiles, or use the A S D F keys.
- Pick a speed (Relaxed or Fast) and a song.
- Pause anytime with the pause button, Spacebar, or Escape.
Built as a single self-contained HTML file — no build step, no dependencies.
