Local setup

Use Python 3.10 or 3.11, then install the dependencies from the project folder:

python -m pip install -r requirements.txt

On Windows, run start_server.bat and choose either the desktop window or the browser server. The launcher automatically prefers .venv, then Python 3.11. Desktop support is included automatically on Windows. The Docker image skips that desktop-only package and starts the browser server.
