Pressure Form Retrodiction Harness v0.1.1

A bounded HIR/OAM pressure-form retrodiction harness built from the 6.10 KB diamond seed.

Core protocol:

No ending first. Pressure first. Repair vector second. Comparison last.

This v0.1.1 calibration patch adds difficulty labels, confidence labels, hindsight-leakage checks, competing-pressure lists, alternative repair routes, proof-boundary notes, and blind-packet mode.

Included demonstration cases

  • —Broad Street Pump / Cholera Mapping — public-health exposure pathway
  • —Tacoma Narrows Bridge / Dynamic Instability — engineering pressure / wind-structure coupling

What changed from v0.1

v0.1 treated high scores as raw repair-vector matches.

v0.1.1 keeps the repair-vector scoring but adds calibration:

  • —Difficulty rating
  • —Confidence rating
  • —Hindsight-leakage check
  • —Competing-pressure list
  • —Alternative repair routes considered
  • —“Why this is not proof” boundary
  • —Blind Packet Mode

Retrodiction strength ladder

text
Level 1 — Demonstration Case
The pressure source is strongly visible in Packet A.
Goal: prove the harness protocol works.

Level 2 — Moderate Blind Case
Packet A contains competing plausible pressure sources.
Goal: test whether HIR/OAM can rank the right pressure.

Level 3 — Adversarial Case
Packet A includes misleading surface explanations.
Goal: test whether HIR/OAM avoids false closure.

Level 4 — Live Blind Packet
Another model or person prepares Packet A without revealing the case title/outcome.
Goal: test true repair-vector retrodiction.

Level 5 — Multi-case benchmark
Several cases, including failures, non-failures, near misses, and false positives.
Goal: test calibration, not just successful examples.

Boundary

This is not a proof engine, not a claim of historical certainty, and not a replacement for domain expertise. It tests whether HIR/OAM can identify repair vectors from pre-correction pressure without seeing the ending first.

A result may be a strong demonstration match while still being too signposted to count as final validation.
