Alpamayo-Test-2

University of Dubai AI Lab. Hosted on the existing Space BuildingTHEITGUY/Alpamayo-Sandbox because new Gradio cpu-basic Spaces need PRO/Team.

How this differs from Test-1

Test-1 is a concept page that always replays demo_clip.mp4 and a hardcoded CoT, while the card still says “Demo of NVIDIA Alpamayo.” Test-2 stays on cpu-basic and labels the mock. The Run control is wired to a scenario id. If weights are not loaded, the banner says the text is scripted, not Alpamayo. Real mode is gated and will not print mock copy as model output.

This review build’s Real path is a guard, not a wired inference loop. It refuses rather than faking 1.5. Wire src/alpamayo1_5 only after an offline A10G test_inference.py screenshot.

Scenarios

Lab-owned / licensed Dubai clips go in clips/ using the filenames in scenarios/dubai.json. PhysicalAI-AV is 25 countries; we do not claim it contains Dubai. Missing clips are shown as “clip not attached.”

Hardware

cpu-basic → A10G grant → Alpamayo 1.5 (num_traj_samples=1, official min 24 GB). Not Alpamayo 2 Super.

License

App code: MIT. NVIDIA weights (when used later): OpenMDW-1.1. Card text vs OpenMDW commercial language needs a UD legal read.

Published onto the existing Space BuildingTHEITGUY/Alpamayo-Sandbox because Hugging Face now requires PRO / Team for new Gradio cpu-basic Spaces. Org University-of-Dubai-AI-Lab returned 402. University-of-Dubai-AI-Lab/Alpamayo-Test-1 was not modified.
