🌊 Marine Debris Detection – YOLOv8 + Streamlit

This project detects marine debris like plastic bottles, bags, and cans from images or uploaded videos using a custom-trained YOLOv8 model. It also highlights environmental and health hazards caused by each detected object.

Features:

• —Upload images or short videos to detect marine trash.
• —Adjustable confidence & IoU thresholds for fine-tuned detection.
• —Integrated hazard awareness messages to educate users.
• —Live video capturing is under development (coming soon!).

Goal: To create awareness about marine pollution and offer a tool that can assist NGOs and environmental agencies in identifying and tracking debris.
